The SCC serves as a primary link between the home, community and the school. The purpose is to strengthen shared responsibility for learning success and well-being of all youth, to provide support and make recommendations for such things as the Learning Improvement plan, Student Code of Conduct, Student Fees and fundraising activities within the school, to encourage and facilitate parent and community engagement and to get actively involved in school functions such as BBQ’s, Christmas dinners, Teacher Appreciation Week, Student Appreciation days and the year-end Awards ceremony.
